LOVE
Why would I want to do anything but love?
Oftentimes, I find myself getting frustrated, annoyed, and angry with the Haitians, the very people I came here to serve. In scripture, the importance of faith, hope, and love is expressed. But the greatest, most significant of the three is love. Scripture also points out that if I have not love, I am nothing. Nothing. Without love, my actions are worthless and my words are empty.
So that brings my back to my initial question: why would I want to do anything but love?
With the much-needed help of the Spirit, I desire to move forward in love. I do not want my life to reflect anything but the magnificent love of Christ. Slow to anger (and all the other crappy emotions my flesh has to offer), and rich in love - that is what I want. Oh, that I may walk richly in Love and pursue its depths so that I am able graciously extend it to others unconditionally!
